Travel and aviation lawyer Victoria Roy was featured in Nine’s A Current Affair on 5 April 2023 calling on the government to implement a flight delay compensation scheme in Australia. This was in her role as travel law spokesperson for the Australian Lawyers Alliance.
Victoria highlighted the enhanced rights that air passengers have in other jurisdictions compared to Australia. She called on the government to use their Aviation White Paper as an opportunity to learn lessons from Covid and implement a scheme in Australia.
